Steeda short throw in 2day, also have an unknown whistle
Finally got my steeda short throw in the car today. Havnt had a chance to drive it yet but it feels soooo much better than stock. I cant wait to try it out. I also put the lx taillights on, makes the car look better w/out the cheese grater lights. Still have em if anybody needs some. I also had a chance to adjust the distributor, cause i just recently put new upper and lower intake on and had to move it around to get er to start. Finally got it to start and idle , but i think i have some vaccume lines either hooked up wrong or not plugged cause im gettin a whistle sound and i dont know where its comin from. Does anyone know what that could be or have a diagram or picture of where all the vacuume lines should go. Its the gt40e upper and lower off a 98 explorer. Maybe someone has a pic of this already installed on their ride so i could look to see if everythings in the right spot? Thanks for any help.
hmm..i kinda got a whistle as well..its really light and only
whistles sometimes..me, my dad, and bro figured it was
just the way the air is hitting it..so idk

ya, thats where i think mines comin from. Well its hard to tell exactly but thats what it sounds like. Did you start to hear yours when u put your new intake on? Also did u plug any vacuum lines when u got new intake?
well when i installed my intake, it was all good, but recently
changing the MAF it started whistling, me, my dad, and bro
figured its the air whistling as it goes through, etc
umm no, i couldnt figure out where one vac line goes
so i put a bolt in it..and i still dont know where it goes [&:]
