Project Car Input

Project Car Input
I have a 91 GT convertible project car. I need some performance input etc, .... The budget is tight. I have the Keene air induction, a Jet Chip and have removed the A/C. I [i]know[i]I need ruber, an exhaust system and probably struts. I do not intend to race the the car, just like to the G forces and and it to be really pretty. Any suggestions?
You can lead a horse to water, but if you can get that Pony to do a 13.75, then you may realy have something! ! !

RE: Project Car Input
by g's, do you mean in acceleration or turning?? for power you could do a bunch of things. the most common would be stroker kit, supercharger, nitrous, h/i/c, or a combo of them. do you want to keep it N/A or would you want to supercharge it?? do you want to run nitrous??? how mechanically inclined are you and how much time do you have to spend on it?? no matter what you do you will want some rear end gears, most likely 4.10s for what u are doin. it is also a good idea to get new control arms. the stock ones are sh*tty. high performance tires are always a good idea. for exhaust you will want an o/r x-pipe and most likely longtubes. there are a couple of things for you to look into

RE: Project Car Input
Depending on what "tight" means you can go with heads, intake, and throttle body and that will give you a nice kick. If you're just looking for an imediate kick without shelling out too much money you may wanna look into nitrous. As for right now I'd def do a full exhaust, longtubes, x, and catback. That's something that will help with whatever you might wanna do later on.
