So i was wondering, when some of you have your cars worked on by someone else, do they charge more if you have aftermarket parts on them? Just curious

Dunno they might because if they see you have a s/c or a turbo they might think hey this kid has money charge him/her a $100 more. I never had this problem i do everything my self.

i suppose if the saw that i had mods like different intakes or smog elimination they might not know how to work w/aftermarket parts. Im thinking new gears and im down to the block now, but i was thinking i might be in over my head b doing them myself.. I guess everything else im doing myself but the repair shops around here are podunk!

Some will work on them, some won't. Like I said, it depends on the situation.
