351w question!!!!

does any body know if the timing trigger found on early modle 351's were any good, only four point trigger. dont know what year ltd the motor if from but has efi with ony two injectors over the intake.

if the block is any good for building ? the later one are ok, but dont expect to hit 700hp and survive like you could with a 69-72 block thats all , ill peek through some books but it think they are ok to build , i think i know which one your talking about

I built my 351 off of a 1995 F- 150 block because it was a roller cam, I font know the horse power restrictions though, Dave

i dont think its alot higher than the 5.0, 550 + can be done , but dont go much higher . just be conservative and dont get into detonation ,
