Default Engine Problem-need some help..plz!!

i have a 94 GT. 145,500 miles....not sure whats up with it lately its been stutterin bad at all rpm's. gets even worse goin up hills . Cleaned my filter, no improvement. Its a bad stutter, its gettin to the point where its jerking the car and the tachometer is jumping almost 400rpm around the rpm its supposed to be at. Is my engine goin dead, did i drop a cylinder, is it just timing, or what?.....there is no smoke coming from the car.

Been awhile on the tune-up...replaced plugs less than 8 months ago!

How about the wires? My car ran like a Civic for a few days, I put a set of Livewires on it and it's great now

Repaced fuel filter 2 weeks ago!....my wires, i noticed this last weekend that 1 of the wires mysteriously had a piece of the rubber coating missing...but the integrity of the wire is fine (I think)...the mesh on the inside of the rubber is not frayed at all....could this be my problem?

Check the procedures to run the KOEO/KOER/Cylinder Balance self-tests...suggest you run them, specially the Cyl. Bal. test....it will help you id which cylinder(s) have a missing problem, and confirm if the plug cable you have with the rubber coating missing, could be a cause for the problem, or not. GL
