They wouldn't pass tech. Not to mention it would be dangerous! Not rated for high speed. I wouldn't chance 2 of those @ over 100mph!!!

yea...lol, theyre only rated for like 55mph and for like 50 miles. it would be wild to see that though..

What about just the rim with different tires rated for higher speeds??

Not that I'd do it, that'd be soooo tacky!

a lot of people do that around here. replace the tires with cheap tires that will last at high speeds. it looks kinda lame.. until the whip out a 8.57 1/4 @ 114 mph or something


actually i went to the street races a while back and saw a bunch of honda's with spares on the rear. it made me giggle

Oldest trick in the book of 'stang racing. Take the aluminum spares found in aero-nose GT's, put a set of 165r15's(Think VW) & go racing...Legally. Most tracks will not have a problem with it unless you forget to remove the warning sticker on the face of the aluminum wheel....
