whats the difference?
GT weighs more and in some years has ground effects, different tailights, etc. that the LX doesn't. Strictly aesthetics and while no one really keeps either stock, the LX is supposeldy a little quicker out of the factory.
It's not that its 'quicker'. It's that it weighs less. And not much. If you put two bone stock hatchbacks next to eachother. One LX and one GT. The LX would eventually pull away due to the weight. It doesnt really matter performance wise whether you get the LX or GT.
GT's are always griven harder tho....
Usually the same body type GT weighs 100-150lbs more than the LX. The GT almost always has the premium sound & full power everything wieght in addition to the already mentioned ground effects weight.

Well the body moldings are different, they do not have the side skirts, etc. which really isnt that much weight (maybe 10-15 pounds for the rear bumper, front bumper and side skirts) but the GT seats are heavier, etc. Trust me... its not 100 pound difference in the the body kit.
