Automatic Stalled
The other night my 1994 GT stalled when shifting from drive to reverse in a parking lot...
Also, something somewhat related, the car idles a little funny, sometimes goes down a little only to rev up a little, then normal for a while, and repeat.
Could it be not getting enough fuel?
It hasn't stalled sinse as i play with it, it was very very humid that night, condensation on all parts of the car, could this have had play in it?
Thanks
Kevin R.

RE: Automatic Stalled
Check your vacuum hoses. Especially around your TB. Vacuum controls the idle when your not on the gas. There is also an idle air by pass valve which may not be working properly. Vacuum hoses are about the cheapest parts for a car so check them first.

Make sure the Idle valve deal is cleaned out nicely to allow air getting through at idle. Make sure there are no leaks around the induction, throttle body, and manifold. Check all the vacuum hoses for hardening and leaks..

RE: Automatic Stalled
Most likely on the underside of the hood there will be a diagram for the vacuum system. If not, look for small rubber hoses that are attached to the throtle body. There a several running to all different parts under the hood. Just inspect the for cracks and shrinkage. If have a bad leak you can listen for an air sound like letting air out of a tire, only quieter. Your best bet is to buy a manual from a parts store. They're only about $15.
