My PCV valve only has one outlet on it... It pushes down into the lower intake on the back of the motor, and it has one attachment for a vaccum line... It goes to the bottom of the upper intake.... Good luck

replacement pcv for our years, for some stupid reason, come with two ports. You have to plug the bottom port, and customize your hose, to get it to fit. Thats what i did.

no, no, no
the black plastic thingie with 2 ports on the top of the valve comes off, I dont know why they put it on there,
just take it off and put your hose on. there is no need to modify anything.
I dont know why you would want to use that tiny port anyways.

the one port is a lot bigger than tat on the intake manifold. Maybe thats the port i dont use, but I can't remember which port is the big one, the valve is in my backseat right now, oh well I'll get to it tommorow and figure it out.

Also another Q.: Will running a breather with the PCV system applied cause a vaccuum leak or cause the PCV to not work as effectively?... I've heard of a lot of guys running a breather with the valve w/o problems but didnt know about the 5.0.

not really, did the one that originally came on your motor have that plastic thing on it?
I didnt think so, I think they make it like that so it will have more applications.

no, thats not what I meant, I am trying to say that the part # for the pcv on our cars may be the same for other cars, and those other cars have 2 hoses going to them.

if you buy a ford pcv valve it wont have that junk on top of it.
but you will probably pay $20 for it.

modify it if you want the hassle of doing it, or just take off the plastic part and it is the same as the one that you took off.
