Default Speedometer Readings Off!

Hey, does anyone know if they even have a speedometer gear that matches up for ford racing 4.10 gears? I talked to the local Ford dealership and they say that the only one that can come close to the correct speedo gear is for the 3.73. I've heard that there is one for 4.10s though...just want to see if what I've heard is right or not. Seems hard to believe that they wouldn't seeing how popular 4.10s are...

They make one but I believe you have to go into the tranny and take off the yellow speedo drive gear and replace it with a different one. I think 5.0 Resto might have a little bit more info about it.

23 spline gear i have one in mine, you have to do what hotrod said pull the gear out the tranny, which is easy and switch it which is also easy

the 23 tooth won't correct it enough. you have to replace the drive gear in the tranny also because anything bigger than a 23 tooth won't fit. however the 23 tooth will be pretty close and all you have to do is buy taller tires.

How accurate can I get with a 3.90 gear and a 92 AOD. What correction gear would be the best for me? How accurate will it be?
