Default ANOTHER PROBLEM

I recently bought and installed a used fluidyne attached to a black magic fan and i installed it and the fan will not turn on any suggestions i have the hot wire hooke to the starter and the other wire grounded any suggestions would help alot.

well i would try jumping the fan right to the battery. if that deosnt work the fan motor does not work.

Why would you hook the + wire to the starter. Agree w/ the above statement.

yea starter for FORDS are only HOT when cranking it. the solinoid will be a better spot(the large post that goes to the Batt.)

Yeah but then it would have constant power and run all the time. Def needs a relay to control it from a switch.

yup yup... i was just sayn for motor testing purposes(jump test). But switch to relay to fan is the safest way for permanent setup.
