Default clutch or something else?

Just installed a new motor in my 88 LX. On the way home I noticed that there was this noise coming from under my car. The noise would go away when I would put the clutch pedal in. I put a new flywheel and clutch kit. Any ideas? This guy told me that it might be the trans it self. I didn't have any kind of problems with the trans befor the swap.

throwout bearing. you should change it when you change the clutch. it wears out pretty quick. check the pilot bearing too.

Your the second guy to say that. I know that the Throw out bearing is new. Could it be the clutch fork is screwed up?

Pilot bearing? I was going to put a new one in but I didn't have the tool to do take out the old one so i left it in. What are the chances that it's my trans making the noise?

I hope it's not the trans, not that I can't afford one right now just that I want to rebuild the other motor that I took out first and put a hole new motor and trans. all at the same time. I think that on friday I'm going to take the trans down and look at everthing again to make sure that everything is straight.

Is the clicking noise when your moving or when stationary? Check the easy stuff first.
