Default 5.0 302 engine rebuild

I have a 95 GT with a 347 stroker in it at this time. I have a second engine that i sthe orginal 302 that came in the car when i bought it. I have the amazing urge to run turbo on this car, so i want a ligher engine, stroked to like a 306 or 331. Anyone have any suggestions on somewhere on the east coast that is good at this kind of job? I'm wanting to run turbo because in my area theres alot of Sn95 mustangs, and even more fox body style mustangs that are running massive cam or massive superchargers, i want to be unique and still compete against these cars. Any suggestions?

a 306 is a .030 over 302, not stroked.

the more cubes the better when you boost. i say, get a dart block to handle the power. put in your forged stroker kit with dish pistons instead of flat tops for lower compression, then boost it as hard as you want. the more cubes you have, the better power youll get from boost.

dart or man-o-war blocks are good. youll need a stronger block and sine you already have a 347, id just sell the other 302, put the 347kit in a stronger block, and lower the compression for boost. it would be a very strong setup. if you boost a built motor on a stock block theres a good chance you could bust it.

Erik, Start saving some $$$$ as I think what you are wanting to do is going to cost $10,000 give or take a little.
You'll also need a trans and probably a 9" to do it right.........

i already have a 9. rear and a ford heavy duty trans(bought from summitracing.com) and im looking to spend around $12,000. Just trying to sorting out what to buy. i know im gonna need dishes instead of flats, im gonna redo my lifters because i dont like the ones im using. Not sure if i wanna stick with the e303 or change that. but i like my intake, trick flow street. I just need to know where i can research the dart block and the other one he mentioned

if anyone has a suggestion of setup i should do ill take all the advice i can get. Also if anyone knows of any eastern coast builders that do good work let me know, im willing to do anywhere on east coast

do a google search on these blocks. theyre all over the net. its definetly what you need. and whatever you do, dont decrease your cubes. the more cubes, the better response youll get out of your turbo.
