Well guys my idle is pretty messed... when it starts up its fine..right under 1000 rpms.. however when i drive the car around for a few mins or even just let it warm up for a little the idle goes up.. sometimes as far as 2000 rpms.. Any idea as to what could be causing this problem.. Any help would be great. thanks again guys!

check your white/black plugs....i opened up the pins and clamped the female ring holes works great.

you have salt/pepper plugs behind your intake...10 pin...you pull them apart you'll see what i'm talking about.

^^^X2...check the procedure at http://fordfuelinjection.com/index.php?p=85 and doing http://www.muscularmustangs.com/maintain.php shouldn't hurt either. You could also have a TPS sensor on its way out, once it heats up, TPS voltage could be spiking above 1.22vdc causing the idle to raise or.....a bad IAC valve.

alright guys im back again... so i tried doing that salt and pepper shaker process, and that didnt end up being the problem.. i then clean out my throttle body.. So then i tried to check the tps and sure enought the voltage was about 1.22 volts. i turned is down but it would only go to about 1.12 volts and i elongated the holes and finnaly got the voltage down to .99.. i then let the car run for a little while and everything seemed to be going good. i then decided to give it some gas to see if the idle would come down.. it then started to hang around 1300-1400 again.. not as high as before but still high.. i checked the voltage on the tps and it was 1.08.. is it supposed to go back up or is mine broken? any help would be great.

FYI... check http://www.my5oh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=144#144 ....you may have a problem with the TPS, suggest to clear codes (disconnect battery for 5-8 min.) drive test and run a KOEO and KOER self-test.
