EGR Blockoff???

EGR Blockoff???
Hi. I'm sure its been done a lot of times, but what is the best way to block off the EGR? I could just put a piece of tin in where the valve bolts onto the intake, or could I just take off the EGR spacer? Or block off where the tube goes through the intake somehow?
The reason for this is that the valve is sticking part-way open, and I feel like getting rid of a lot of "un-needed" stuff. No emission laws in Wisconsin, so the smog pump is going next. Thats making noise anyways.
Thanks!

RE: EGR Blockoff???
there is a block-off plate for sale here http://www.thedetailzone.com/Ford%20...j%20Access.htm
also you should look into doing the egr elimination mod. it will keep your lack of egr from causing the check engine light to come on.
without the mod your engine may not run correctly with the egr removed.
