My son was given a 1983 Mustang GT and it has "The Boss" across the bottom of the doors. He is trying to find out if this was done from the factory and if so is it a special edition, or is it just something that was added. Is this one that is worth fixing up? Any info I can get on this particular year/model would be terrific!

 

check with the folks at www.mustanggt.org, this is a registry of all Mustang GT's and they can probably answer this question for you, I don't know the answer myself.
