Default Engine question

I am going to be purchasing a 92-94 (old body style) and I do not want the original engine in..What I really want to do is buy all of the parts for it and then have someone build it for me.. My best friend dragraces and he knows a really good engine builder.. but i don't want to look stupid and ask him what i need ...so if anyone could direct me to a site where i can get a good list of what to buy for a street engine that would get me in the 7's in the 1/8th please let me know...or if anyone knows where i could buy a new engine in Sc for a reasonable price that would work too

Thanks</P>

Just ask dude. If you've never done it before, how are you supposed to know? Be a lot simpler, and you may find some stuff out you won't know otherwise.

Better to be thought stupid and be fast than smart and idiotic.

You mean 92 or 93 if talking mustangs. '93 was the last of the fox bodies, new style in 94.

Like jeep says, I would assume the engine builder could tell you what you need for the application you want. You start telling him about all the stuff you've recently learned, and you probably won't impress him too much. If he's good, he'll tell you the combos you need for what you want to do.
