But unfortunately there are hundreds of indy shops that thrive on Emissions testing....I know of ONE store here in ABQ that does over 15000 tests per month. At 24.99/pop, that's some serious Jack.

And they haven't been caught cheating in over 4 years so they aren't short sticking it.

ya, irvine is in OC. i prefer to go to the places that say "pass or dont pay" cause if you dont pass, they have to test the car again for free and most dont want to do that so they are more likely to look the other way on small stuff

 

Sounds good^. But you didn't answer my other question! hows the weather down there? I'm in Minnesota and i can't stand the cold!

 

Well my actual county that my car is registered in does not require emissions. But up here in Alaska I guess they dont care where its from, if its running around there towns for more than 20 days then they give you like 2 weeks to get it inspected. I hope they dont look up my car, cause it had 4 cats, and a smog pump...now it has nothing.
