Default Front Sway Bar

I'm looking at buying front sway bar bushings for my '84 GT. I measured the sway bar and it came up 1 9/32". I went on Summit and went to order some but found that they come in 1 1/4", 1 3/8", 1 5/16". I was going to order the 1 1/4" because it's just 1/32nd smaller than what I measured and I would rather have it be tight than loose. I was wondering what some of your guy's thoughts might be. I may have measured wrong and if I did it would have been because the calipers were on the bar crooked, which would make my measurement larger than what it should be which is another reason I'm going smaller.

Also, what is the advantage to a greaseable poly bushing?

My thoughts would be to throw that thing in the trash. Front sway bars and the second step in weight reduction right after the spare tire/jack.

yes it will... but most of the tards around here that tell you to take stuff off your car only care about going in a straight line

I just took my sway bar off and it does have more body roll but it feels much faster, and it lifts the front more.

i'd rather put a set of aluminum heads on my car to reduce weight, instead of removing my front sway bar

besides... foxes cant handle for crap anyway

Alright damnit!!! I'm not asking for suggestions on what to do with it... just asking what size people think it is based on my measurements.... don't post if you don't have an answer to my question... it's a daily driver and I need to keep the handling stock... if I wanted it to feel faster I'ld buy a speedo gear that made the speedometer move faster... Otherwise just answer the question please...
