Default Door weatherstrip problem.

Well when it rains, alot of water gets trapped at the top of my door and when I open it, well it falls in. Somethings telling me that this isnt stock whatsoever and that it is missing weatherstripping. I took a few pics so that you could see what I am talking about. My doors are in perfect alignment also. Thanks!

Make sure there is nothing blocking the grove. Also check to see if it was put in properly. I replaced the ones on our 93 and havent had any trouble out of them. They were aftermarket also.

Not really what you mean by a slot. One thing you could do is try replacing the weatherstripping with a new peice. Just get one form 50 resto and use some black weatherstrip adhesive to put it on. Be sure that it goes all the way on and when youre done close the door to seat it.

What you had in your pics look like my car. Mine is stock. Maybe your rain gutters are leaking.....run water on your roof with your door open and look for leaks

Alright, I'm going to take some time to explain this.

When I walk out to my car after it has rained, in the top part of the door in between the top of car and the top of the actual door there are rain drops. If I dont get a rag and swish them out, when I Open my door up they will drip right now onto the side of my seat. Now there should be something it its place to prevent rain from hanging out in there so when I open my door all of the rain drops dont fall in. Get what Im saying now? Its just weird.

personally, i think its just a bad design that's pissin you off here -- same crap happens on my car, and with the windows down, water will run in from the top and fall onto the inner door/seats.
