Default need some help!

my fuel gauge on my car does not work. this can be quite a pain while driving not knowing how much gas i have and estimating by gas milaege will only go so far. anyone think they can help?

drop your tank, and pull your fuel pump out.

it's probably the float in the tank, they get full of holes and dont work woth **** after a while.

i dropped my tank cuz mine wasnt working, and it wasnt even on the sending unit anymore haha.

but yeah, thats probably the problem, i just put 2 wine corks on it, and she works great now.

if thats not the problem, youll probably need a new sending unit...

which is probably retardedly priced.

Figure out which wire is the feed for your gauge from the sender. Disconnect it and groung it, the gauge should go to full. If it does, the problem is prolly the sending unit. If it doesn't, it's prolly the gauge or a short in the wire.
