Default Good buget forged pistons?

i am building my 302 to 10:1 compression ratio and will be pushing around 400 on motor and 75 hp on the bottle. I was wandering what a good cheap priced piston u all would suggest. I have looked at the speed pro ones on summit and they look pretty good. dont want to spend the price on je pistons if i dont have to. looking around 300 dollar range without rings.

Dude, you want 400HP, 10:1 and your going to throw a shot (small) of juice on it and you want a cheap piston? Why? If you decide, reconsider, come to your senses, whatever that you want a good piston go to www.coasthigh.com and get Probe.

For the money the Speed Pro forged are the best deal...$266.99 (with rings) Jegs/Summit.

But they won't give you the compression you need.

I dunno about the others aside from you get what you pay for and they are worlds ahead of the Speed Pros in terms of "building a better mouse trap" style engine.

Good luck to you Sir,
Ivan

i was looking at the trw ones or speed pro. i think they are the same company. they are cheap, but are a little heavy
i have heard nothing but good things about the prope pistons and they are only around 60 dollars more and alot lighter.
