Default replacing worn plastic

The plastic trim around my windows is pretty worn. Can i buy a new replacement online somewhere?
Id also like to replace the plastic molding around the inside door handle.

Are you talking about the trim on your door windows or the rubber molding on your quarter windows?

Both are pretty worn out actually. But the stuff around the quarter windows is really bad.

Well, Im not sure what company makes them but some company makes a little plastic molding cover that basically glues over the old one to hide the pitting but they look like hell. Also, they used to make new quarter windows but Im not sure if they make them anymore. I know a vendor from CJponyparts and he told me that alot of companies stopped making them because they were literally exploding out of the car on the highway from the pressure (or some reason like that). You can try the junkyard for good condition quarter windows but good luck finding them. I have seen sets on ebay go for as little as $80 and as much as $800 for OEM mint quarters. Alot of people also just take them out. Sand them down, use high build primer and paint them... they usually come out pretty well. Now take your pick lol

I recently replaced my 1/4 windows with a pair of NOS. My original are actually in really good shape but since the car was apart I figured I'd just replace them now.

I have the original's and am looking to sell. I can get pics (maybe tonight). PM me and let me know.

I painted mine on Monday. I used some Duplicolor primer and Duplicolor Ford Semi Gloss Black engine enamel. Stuff is rated at 500 degress F so Im not worried about it. As far as the handle bezels go get some off ebay. I bought mine from energizerracing last year. He probably still has some. I got them in about a week. They look really good. They also have the rubber gasket with them. As far as any other trim peices, check ebay. There is a lot on there.

HotRod,
Could you post please post up or send me a pic of your resto job on those?

I would really like to see what they might come out like if I decide to tackle it.

Thanks,
Ivan
