Doesn't matter if it is dated or not... good info is good info. Some noobie down the line might read this thread and get it. That is the purpose of taking a few seconds to type a response with good info. It might be futile, but on the chance it is not, it is worth the effort.

The suspension bind does not occur at the outside of the bushings but more so on the connecting pin/bolt that hold it in place. Shaving off the outer edges of the bushings will do nothing to prevent this binding . Spherical bushings however was the answer to this .
Polly bushings actually create the snap over steer , and I would never recommend them for hard cornering, shaved or not they will bind. They are great for a straight line launch . For the best of both worlds spherical is the way to go.
