Default hard to shift

ok here's my problem.. after driving for about 45 min or longer, the shifts get real hard to shift, like they don't want to go in. i have to push the clutch down as far as possible as hard as i can and its a little easier, can the clutch need adjustment? or can something be wrong with the tranny? the ford racing clutch was just put in about a year ago, if that. i also have a pro 50 shifter that i put in about year ago as well. its fine when i dont drive that long, but after driving for a while is when it starts. the tranny is stock and i have 373 gears in the rear. it has 111,000 miles and in mint condition, this is the only problem i have... any help is appreciated, thanks

take the clutch fork cover off and check for slack in the cable. it shoudn't be real tight but it needs to have a little tension.

My clutch was VERY hard to push in (but this was ALL the time). The problem turned out to be a bent clutch fork. It don't sound the same as your problem, but you might want to keep it in mind. Hope this helps.

There is a plug in each side of the trans. 1 for fill, the 1 mounted high, and 1 for drain, the 1 mounted low. Kinda makes sense huh?

Stick your pinky in and if you feel fluid it's full. But like I said, if it's never been changed, with the mileage on it, I would change it.

When the shop did my clutch a couple months back, I had to TELL them to do it (they were not going too). Might want to check with them or just replace it.
