what is the differance between the 87-89 fender compared to the 90-93 ones

Im pretty sure the 90-93 fenders were wider b/c they offered larger size wheels starting in 90 (the pony rims)

the wheel opening is larger they are not the same u can out one 87 on one side and a 90 on the other side as long as u get the correct moulding for in front of the wheel. that is specific also noone would notice unless u told them

damn i thought they were the same. So would it be better to replace the whole front clip instead of just the fenders?

its just the wheel flare in front of the tire instead of going straight down its cut at an angle because of the pony tire size if u ca find a whole clip u can swap over that would be good if it has a the bumper extensions for both sides cause ull end up buying those also. but why are u swapping alot of people run pony etc on the 87-89 car?
