Ok Guys...........My transmission (AOD) needed to be rebuilt so I took it to the trans shop.....the owner said he would rebuild it for 1600.00. I agreed (although I could have bought a new one for that after I looked around!). Regardless he promised me it would be RIGHT! Well since then he has run me around the block a few time and does not call me! Here is the situation:

FEB---took it in for the rebuild and shift kit. Got it back and noticed it still shifted early but it did not shutter and did OK. (He said he would look in to the shifting early and never called back)
MAY---decided I was not happy with it so I took it back in and he said he would see what he could do.........got it 3 WEEKS LATER AND IT STILL DID NOT WORK RIGHT in fact it seemed worse! It races and it shuttered once will I was driving it.
June---took it back and he said he was replacing the whole transmission since I was not happy. Its been 2 WEEKS and he still has not called.................I AM PISSED NOW!!

So what do I do......I heard BBB is a joke (he is a member) so reporting him may do no good??? Small claims cout has no jurisdiction so if they favor in my way he still does not have to do anything? Or so I am told?

any ideas will be appreciated...............If I take him to regular court than I have to get a lawyer for 1200.00............seems like I can't win.

 

I would still call BBB and report him. He may have never had any complaints against him so this would bring some negative attention to him. Tell everyone you know how bad he sucks.....Good luck!

 

Yea. I will do what ever I can after I run out of options..........I just hate to do it now since he has my baby! I want the car to be right...........thats all but I will play hard ball if needed. I just don't think threats will do anything since I feel he is protected???

 

I would also call him atleast once a day just to check on progress. or the bug the f**k out of him. But makesure you talk to him each time. or try to make an apperance at the shop every day or so.

 

Good idea............I may do this to let him know I am pissed and ready to get my girl back.....................The cool thing is I do not need to car since I have a DD and can hold out.

 

trust me after about a week he will be pissed. after calling for a couple of days the guys in the shop will say he is out cuz they know it is you and then you start making apperances and then he can't hide. lol

 

Yea. I have to make his life miserable like he has made mine! I will give him till Friday and then I will be calling him on Moday--------everyday! I think he trying to ride out the warranty...........although he will have to wait until Feb. before its up...............I guess I will just be a bad hemeroid for him...........
