I ran the scanner on my car and it came up with codes 311 & 314. The codes basically say there is a problem with the Thermactor Air System. I was wondering if that is the thermostat or what it is exactly.

isnt that the port on the front of the intake? i think someone brought it up last night.

i could be completely wrong tho so dont hold me to it lol

I just fixed mine yesterday!!

Your local library should have ALLDATA, a diag. program that will allow you to get all the info you need on fixing this.

I looked it up, and on the pass. side there is a hose with two valves on it. That is the Thermal Sys they are talking about.

My vacuum line was broken near the solenoids, and I replaced it. 8 months of a check engine light vanished!

It's easy to test, and easy to get to; just remove the part of the airtube that covers it.



Check your vacuum lines carefully.
