Default Changing H PIPE

What is the best way to jack up the car/where and where to put the jack stands for changing out the H pipe??? I understand on the rear end is easy...but on the front where is the safest or most easily acessed place to lift the car and put jack stands....my 5.0 is very low to the ground so I do have floor jacks but it is still difficult to acess areas.

Default RE: Changing H PIPE

You can jack ont eh front K-member. If you cant reach it try the side FRAME rails not the pinch weld. If you do it that way you'll have to jack it one side at a time. Once you get it up place your jackstands on the k-member close to where to lower control arms are attached. Theres many places through there just pic the one that you can easily reach. On the back jack on the pumpkin and place the stands under the axle housings. You might not need to jack the rear up unless you have trouble getting under the car to reach the bolts up by the headers.
