i changed intake ,throttle body ,distributor, msd box and headers. after everything i noticed my headers were glowing red. i adjusted timming to 10 degrees.

 

Maybe try a new thermostat?

What is the temp guage reading?

 

might be just your headers glow red? not such a dense material?

 

you might be running way lean.

 

Sounds to me like you are running VERY lean, what are your other mods and what's your fuel pressure set at?

the intake manifold has a very touchy procedure and bolt pattern you MUST follow when you tighten it down, if the procedure is not followed for upper or lower manifold, you will not establish a proper seal.


In your case unmetered air is entering your engine, causing your headers to glow red, and is unacceptable.

it happened to me, my dad, my friend and u guys, so Im not typing it no more, I have it copied and pasted in a file so a few clicks and your fixed

 

LoL! Dont all the manifolds come with instructions stating how to bolt it down?
