Default finally solved the backfiring :)

my car runs finally lol i guess the baffle in the gas tank broke off and everytime i made a turn it would bounce around in my gas tank and doing so it broke the feul sending unit and broke the feul pump. after going through all the vacuum lines and plugs, sensors, cap, timing the problem was at the other end of the car. im just glad its up and running great day for me

What did you do, replace the tank? I am wondering if that is my problem to since my sending unit was broken, and I put another and it still isn't correctly working. Let me know, im getting my second sending unit today in the mail, and awaiting to drop my tank and notice any problems. Oh, I never found out how to disconnect the filler neck, any tips. Im sure glad that you found your problem btw... Guess I am the only one with a problem.

Its not that hard to drop the tank.

Your going to need a bigger fuel pump if you are spraying anyways so drop it and take a look.

Mine costed 120 bucks for my new tank. But I get 25% off.
