Default Paint? Motor?

i need help. i want to paint my car cause it has some minor dings and chips but its still in good shape. either make it a cobra or a saleen body kit with cobra-r rims, or rebuild my motor with the trickflow heads, systemax inake, 1.6 cobra rr, e303, fel-pro rebuild kit, and the rest of the minor stuff with the rebuild. i have a rear main seal that is leaking pretty good but i dont wanna take it out and change it untill the motor is out. any questions?

Engine all the way. Being an '89, I wouldn't add a body kit. I'd simply clean up the lines, get a good paintjob, and add the cobra wheels. I came across this same dilemma last semester. I could either build my engine and add a posi, or get a paintjob and rims. I opted for the engine and posi, and I don't regret it one bit. I've saved up to this point, and now it's about to go to the bodyshop. Then it will come home to be dropped with the Belltech and doetsch tech parts laying in my closet.

Definitely motor dude. We are guys.....screw the paint, get the car running how you envision it, suspension, engine, integral structure, braking, patch contact, then after all that if you still wish to do the paint.....then do that....but all else should come first.

I really like ugly cars that whip the pretty boys a$$es! Get the engine work done first. Then again I might just be a hick.

I know for sure I am no hick, and would also say engine mods should most definitelty come first. As far as intakes I went with the T/F track heat because I have heard more posotive info from people who have used all three.Wanted the systemax II but ended up with the T/F,it is also cheaper.

They are just different cams made by ford for performance. E303, B303, F303, and i think there's even an X303 but i could be wrong. As far as the individual numbers on these, I have no clue, but i'm sure someone here does.
