You don't need them only for a high hp drag car, any and all cars benefit from them. They stiffen up the chassis a lot which makes for better and more predictable turning and I'm sure it would help your car launch straighter. Why would they make noise? Go with the weld on ones which will never loosen up and will be more effective. I've seen 1"x2" metal used but the best is 2 pieces of 1"x1" welded together. It is even more rigid.

deffinitely go with the WELD ins they are MUCH stronger and that way you wont have to worry about them loosening EVER. You can always get the bolt ins and weld them as well though!

all depends on who you have weld em in. probably anywhere from 1-2 hrs? depending on what the welder charges prices could vary.

it took my exhaust guy 3 hours to install them on my '86 vert. ive got full length max motorsports. they are by far the best thing ive done to my car. it rides smoother and handles ALOT better. if you own a vert and dont have them, get them. hatches and notches wouldnt be as bad, but i would reccomend them for ANY stang.

ORIGINAL: LX 90

at how much horsepower would you need them?
about 30 hp ago Fox's flex A LOT. You'd be surprised what some subs and a strut tower brace will do for you.....
