civic vs 4 grand
You wanna know how much that 800Hp civic probably cost to build...like $45,000 in just the motor and tranny...not to mention your gonna need to squirl some cash away so that every 2 weeks when you break a drive shaft that needs replacing...and i;d like to see some dyno numbers on that civic...if it was a STI or a Supra i would easily believe that. But the only 800hp civics ive seen are in Nopi and on the net...and the ones ive seen have a custom milled block/crank and rods. Correct me if im wrong.....i know alot of people into rice im not ignorant to it. and that civic in your pic has what? a turbo and a nitrous wet kit? Get a 460, get some aluminum heads, some better rods and big cam and all the other usuals and maybe a 150shot of nitrous...there you go...800hp....and you probably spent 10K in the motor...compared to the prob. 45K in the civic, oh and by the way....800hp in a 460...thats easily 100hp per litre
i wish my parents would give me 4 grand...
i assume ur struggling for money hence the whole loan thing so why go spend it all on performance parts?
probably the most retarded thing u could do but hey.. ur not me and im not u!

a loan for 4 grand is not smart, the intrest rate will be around 16% if its not secured by colladeral, otherwise known as a signature loan (where you sign and your dad co signs). get a job and save for 5 months. beats paying for 4 years and the payoff on the loan will be almost $4700. i was 18 and i got a few loans for stupid ****, one was a signature loan for parts for my small block s10, the other was a snowmachine. well the parts for my s10 got me thrown into jail for recklass driving and racing, and got me dropped from my insurance. the snow machine was dropped and the bank put insurence on the day it was droped (i didnt know i was dropped) that ened up costing me an extra $936 (min 1 year term on there ripoff insurence) that had to be payed the first month so i couldnt afford that and my loans and ended up defaulting on them. not good as because of frivioulus ****.
now i dont think the civic is a good idea either because $4,000 does not get a very nice civic. perhaps its just me (6'3" 350#'s) but a civic is much to small and not usefull. its cheaper to make the mustang go fast rather than the civic. $5500 an put a mustang square in the 10's with a hellion turbo kit, aftermarket iron heads, a cam, an intake and a higher pressure blow of valve (kit can do a max of 18psi) and easily make up to 700hp if the morot is built right. you alrady have the mustang and many people would give there right nut's for your car.

First off, I would rather see you buy a ford escort then a civic. I have been into escorts my whole life and have had four and never had a problem and raced them also. and got my hands on this 5.0 I drive on the weekends as my fun car, and I now know what i was missing. My daily driver is a 98 ZX2 and it has ESSey UDP, stage one clutch, and 91 octane chip, TWM short throw shifter and 2 inch S/R drop. I eat hatch back civics all the time and coupes all the time. Man build the stang up and have fun, I cannot believe he would ask to by a civic. FORD FOR EVER BABY.

i saw a STOCK STEEL BODY SN95 run 8.30's with a full interior, cd player, a good stereo, and turbos. any car can run 9's for money. buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut did that 9 second civic pull the wheels? the mustang did[8D]

takes about 3500-4000$ to make 560 to the ground with a 460 stock crank is good to 800 hp you can find the block at a junk yard out of an old van or truck for like 200 bucks and now you have fast car civic=bad mustang=fun
jeebus....... all steel cars with times lower than 12's are respectable. but 6's on that heavy beast? that thing must have hooked like a ****. are you talking 1/4 or 1/8? i was saying 1/4, cus 6.98 is insane for that heavy brick of a car.
It was in the 1/4. There were 2 cars there that night that were runnin sub 7sec. 1 was a sn95 runnin 6.56 (turbo), the other was this chevelle. It was a test and tune night, these guys were tuning their cars for the race that weekend. They were in the 10.5 outlaw class, so they were both runnin 10.5" slicks. I read up a little on it, small blocks can use a any sort of forced induction, big blocks nitrous only. That chevelle was a nitrous beast, it had a 454 in it. All the guy would say about it [8D].

holy poop on a stick.... haha i bet an all steel chevelle was a sleeper. id slap some DR's on it and go f*ck with some civics. lol then when you get done smoking their ***, you tell them you can pull of a sub 7 second 1/4 and see what they say. then when they call bs pull out the timeslip
i see no reason in fixing up a civic.... and kno i have nothing against civic's they have there place in the world to.... it what you drive to work.. but if u want speed stick with the stang way more fun way mroe potential and lot 1000X better.... i wouldnt throw out 4k on parts just ot put myself 4k in the hole tho... save up... i am 3months ive gotten 3k and im just a 18yr old teenage punk *** bitch who is lazy as hell.... keep your stang or you hate yourself forever!!
