next step in engine mod

i was looking to see what the next best thing to do to my engine to get more power out of it, i have a cold air intake, a set of shorty headers, X pipe, and ford racing mufflers, if some one could give me a list of things that i could do to this thing to get it to realy haul some ass, i mean its fast already but im never done making things faster, i am very knowlgeable about engines and can do all the work my self, i just dont know what parts make these fuel injected engine realy run fast.

Rear gears................3:73 for t-5 and 4:10s for AOD................most bang for the buck...

I had someone do it.........I work on my car but I heard that rear gears need to be "exact" so they don't whine..I have screwed too many thing up so I decided to let a guy that was refered by the local mustang aftermarket shop do it. He charged me 200.00 but I heard other people say 300.00 to 600.00 minus the gears.

Maybe someone on here could walk you through it???

yeah i would prefer it to be done right, also speaking of whine, my trans whines alot in every gear but 4th, do you know what is causing it, i thing the input shaft is might have something to do with it because when i am at a stang still with the car out of gear and the clutch depressed it makes no noise, as soon as i let the clutch up and its still out of gear it makes the whineing sound just slightly, so i believe its something to do with the input shaft, whats your opinion?

I agree with the rear gears and a head swap would make a ton of difference...definatly save your money for a head swap. Thatll give you 50hp at least over those horrible E7's. Then add a intake or something to it and you'll really be haulin some ass.

I don't realy know.......I have driven boring autos for years................but for some reason my feeble brain seems to think it might be your pressure plate........
