Default Headers?

which headers have the best performance long tube header or shorty headers? which is easier to install? what about unequal length or equal length? What is a good brand, i was thinking about mac or BBK headers.

long tube by a long shot, next is equal lenth then unequal lenth - in order of performance increase and hardest to install from the left. Mac generally is lower quality - especially the ceramic coatings they have. I have Mac longtubes - the coating sucks but they were cheap and effective

Well that is a good question. I was reading a article last month on some headers 3 brands and they did a dyno with them all and what was funny is the shorty un-equal length performed like 2 hp better . But they was all real close to each other. But if i would have to pick i would say full length headers. Cant go wrong.

BBK Longtubes with ceramic coating.

I saw the test you read and it wasn't under the best circumstances in all honesty. Could have been done much better.

Huh?

BBK Longtubes seem to be the best at this point for the money anyway. Hookers aren't bad but MAC's I've heard about warpage problems or something from them.

Just depends on what you have the money for etc.

Yea, chrome will discolor on exhuast parts and unless you wanna be in there polishing them all the time I wouldn't worry about chrome.
