2 cylinders not working
I have a 90 gt. A few days ago I floored it took it up to about 60mph. Then I resumed driving normally. It now drives like it needs a tune up. I put in fresh plugs but that made little or no difference. Once it was warmed up all the way (and idling) I started removing plug wires to see if I could tell something from that. It appears I am getting nothing from cylinders 3 and 7. these 2 cylinders are across from one another, second from the back. Anybody have any good ideas why these would quit working? When the rpm's begin to climb they 'begin' to work ( at least I think so) I was told that I should take off the upper intake and see if it sucked a gasket and replace it. Anybody have any other ideas?

RE: 2 cylinders not working
Check for fire coming from the wires on those cylinders. If its firing check to make sure the fuel injectors are working properly. And of course a tuneup with cap rotor and wires would be in order as well. Same thing for fuel injector cleaner stuff, like Techron, etc.

Yes Replace wires and plugs. Those guys are dead On. Those will and do cause that. If that doesn't work Pull the plug out and start the car and see if that makes any difference. If it dont then you have problems. If it does then it's electrical for the most part. good luck

Wel with the Techron and stuff I have talked to mechanics and stuff and heard it won't help at all. Go with a full fuel cleaning where they put high pressure through the fuel system and really clean it. I may be wrong thats just what I heard bu good luck with it.
