egr and evr are disconnected on my 5.0 when i got it, the air pump is removed along with most other vacum lines.question is since there is no air pump most vacum diagrams are not much help. should irun a vacum from intake to the evr then to the egr?

Could someone tell me what EVR stands for? I've got those damned things all over my engine bay and I only know that they have something to do with emissions...

it is a relief for the vacuum to egr. the crown like cap in that picture attached to reply above has a small filter in it so the vacuum can be vented to the atmosphere when not needed by the egr. source of egr problems when that filter plugs up.

EGR Vacuum Regulator = EVR ...and.....EVP = EGR Valve Position sensor

hmmm thanks.. I was trying to use one of the hots from one of those things to run my points distributer but it kept making the solonoids across the engine bay click on. Found another one, but wondered what those stupid things were for other than cluttering up my engine bay.

Joel... You run a port-o-sonic! My buddy runs one on his '83 GT. Do you use a separator plate in yours or do you run it open? Also, what is your 1/4 mile time and mph? PM me if you could. I'm gonna pm you with a copy of this just in case.
