a new install for me
Well I got my "Raptor Preformance" shift light in the mail today, so Im gonna go install it. It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be.
Im going to mount it above the gauges on the bottom side of the gauge bezel.
Ill try to get pics up tonight, I should get it done today.

well I have it set at 5400rpms right now, but if its too bright, it came with a couple lens covers to dim it down a bit. Yeah they advertise it being something like 14,000 millicandels total, 3000 per LED

I usually dont, but its been smelling funny when I shift up around 6gs, I know its just the PS pump, but still it will help me save my engine. I'll probably bump it up later.

check ur dipstick u might be experincing the same problem i am which is blowby. it only happens at higher rpms with my car and it will push the dipstick out and oil will spill on to the header. do u only smell this after u rod the car pretty hard?

RE: a new install for me
yeah I only smell something after I give the car a heavy load by running it up to around 6000rpms.
The thing is that there isnt a drop of oil on the exhaust, but there is on the k member and the side of the block behind and below the PS pump.
Thanks 91lxstang
