Default To those who have put a Clutch Quadrant in...

Holy crap I dont know how you could put one in with a dash installed. I just put a Adjustable Mustang Clutch Quadrant Kit from FRPP in my stang since I have the dash out and driveline out to put a 306 in it. It was such a pain and when I had the Aluminum Quadrant barely hanging there I moved the slightest bit to get a better view under the dash and that sucker came out and smashed me between the eyes! But regardless its in and to whoever has installed them before with a dash in your awesome haha.

Oh and BTW I just got a blue 1990 4 cyl auto LX hatch for free!! so now I have 4 mustangs haha anybody want to buy my 82? 1200 or shoot me an offer I want to get rid of it for i have more money for my other project!!

I did mine about two moths ago, If Brian at BBk had not sent me a pic I would probably still be doing it. Now it is easy as pie to me, I'll do them all day long WITH the seat out of course.

yeah, its definatley a whole lot harder if you've never done it before. Took me a few hours to get it done.

I ended up having to file out the holes because it honestly was NOT lining up. Filed it, and BAM. I guess the punch was a little off on that particular one.

None the less, I agree, Now I could probalby do it in an our or so tops!

I just replaced my cable last night, and even that was a fiasco. Being in the position necessary to get at the cable/quadrant is extremely uncomfortable. You have a head full of blood, and your back is trying not to break in half.

Did you guys have to take out the steering column and all that...like my Chilton's manual says? It seems like a lot bigger job than I thought it would be.
