5.0L (1979-1995) MustangTechnical discussions on 5.0 Liter Mustangs within. This does not include the 5.0 from the 2011 Mustang GT. That information is in the 2005-1011 section.
the birds were not ho's. to my knowlage only the mark VII had ho's. the difference between a ho and a standard is cam and intake, the pistons were still 9.1 but not forged.
yep, i'm posative. i have a 92 t-bird sport in my front yard forsale.. still the same everything i think as a regular 5.0 except it has the sn95 intake style.. the "e6" version was only in 86.. lol.. wich sucks cause it's what i got on my mustang.[]

pretty sure the mn12 chassis t-bird had the 5.0 ho... since i got an all stock 92 sport that has a 5.0 ho in it.... it was a lil under rated then the mustang 5.0 though.. rated at 200hp and 275ft/lbs.
the e6 model 5.0 was used past 86 in cars other than the mustang, and the hp ratings in 94/95 are not lower than the fox hp ratins in fact they are higher because ford changed how it rated hp in 93
93 gt was rated at 205
94/95 was rated at 215
