will adjusting my float make it run less rich temporarily therefor decreasing the amount of co im getting to pass emissions.

 

not unless it was high to begin with...best thing to do is back the time back as far as you can like 5 degree and the lean out the idle mixture....run some seafaom in the intake tract..also buy a highflow PCV valve
