Default pulling codes

i was trying to pull codes on my 88gt this afternoon, and all i got was a solid light with my test light. i jumped everything right, and followed the directions i got from Joel on here... with key off, it was a solid dim light, key on was a solid bright light.

Try placing the jumper from the STI connector to a good ground instead. If you have a problem with the SIGRTN wire at the VIP connector, self-test will no be initiated. LUK the outcome.

- DIY KOEO/KOER Self-Tests and Cylinder Balance Test
and if the above link to m-y-5-o-h.com still doesn’t work, use
- How to run a KOEO, KOER Self-Test codes scan and Cylinder Balance Test, or this other one instead.

i grounded the sti input to a strut tower bolt, and got some codes!!

51, 22, 53, 54, 35, and 67. so i guess i'll go see what they mean! thanks joel

found the meanings -- i think they're mostly set because of things i unplugged with the key on/cranking/etc to check things out. i'm gonna clear them out and try again tomorrow
