oxygen sensor tool?
What tool is there to remove the Oxygem sensor in 87-93 5.0's? Because theres no way mines coming out on an auto car without a special tool. I have seen the socket with the slot but i am not even sure if that would work.... Thanks

RE: oxygen sensor tool?
I use a boxed end wrench....either remove the plug from the wires or cut it off if you are going to replace it.

i used an open end wrench on mine... worked fine. I have an auto, there werent any special tools needed... It took me approximately 90 seconds to replace both oxygen sensors just using an ordinary wrench. Seemed like one of the easier things to do. Then again, I have the sn95 so maybe something is slightly different in yours. |
RE: oxygen sensor tool?
try a line wrench if it's being a b!tch
like a closed end w/ a cut in it to fit over a line, if that doesn't do it, it's not coming out |
RE: oxygen sensor tool?
i dont knwo how you guys ar euseing a wrench on the pass. sife i cant even fit a box and on let alone have room to swing it and the driver side i can get it on but there is no room to swing a 7/8" wrench.
