Default just bought 95 gt. Problem...Help!!

I just recently purchased back a 95 gt that I had sold less than 1 year ago. I had sold it to a friend of the family....it was stock when I sold it, but the guy I sold it to put in gears, ford crate motor(I dont know which one but it has the gt-40 iron heads and I believe the E cam). it has a holley systemax intake. The reason I bought it back is he couldnt get it running right after the new motor install. When I got it back I got the timing set right(was way off), changed the stock maf sensor the 95 cobra one for the 24 Ilb injectors that are installed in the motor. I have the car running fairly well although it dosent seem to have the power I think it should....especially considering the 4.10 gears. But after running for a while....the car will sometimes stall...then when I start it, it will be missing badly....if I hold the rpm's at about 2k for about 30 seconds it will sudenly straighten out and start running right. This happens at different times, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after a half hour or so. Its like the motor loads up or something, then misses. It seems like the ECU isnt doing something properly maybe. So I tried swapping the ECU out of my 92 stang and it ran rich as hell. I know thew stock computers on these 94 and up cars are more sensitive to mods, and Ive been told that the 93 computer is worth a try. But is that different than my 92 ECU? Im open to any suggestion....I just wanna get the car running right....any help would be appreciated.....thanks!

Sorry off the topic but are those the only mods you have on your fox?

chances are the car isnt running right because it needs to be tuned.

the reason a 94-95 cobra can run 24# injectors is because the ECU is tuned for them.... its the same MAF that is in a GT.

bring it to a performance shop and have it tuned

Id just take it and have it tuned. Thats your best bet. They'll iron out all your problems. Thats the problem with EFI, everytime you do some really major work like that, you cant just pull out your screw driver and box of jets and have at it. You have to take it someplace to have it done.

But yes, i agree. Have it tuned.
