I bought myself a 1990 gt. Everything in the car works, radio, pwindows, plocks, pmirrors, phatch release, ect. The thing is that the car has a beeping sound, (3 beep sequence) and i have no idea where its coming from. I took it to a place that installs alarms and the guy said he couldnt find any alarm. also, a guy from work tells me that this car is not supposed to beep at all. its driving me nuts, it happens on and off, any ideas? thanks

 

What kind of beeping is it? Does it sound like the beeping when you open the drivers door? Check the door switch. Thats all i can think of if the car doesn't have an alarm

My wife's 90 vert does that shyt!! 5 successions of 5 beeps when you start the car. Then once in a while it does it randomly while driving. I have been all under the dash w/ no luck!![:@]

 

Mine does... So when does yours beep? When you put the key in the ignition?

 

my stereo beeps when i turn off the car to remember to take off the face plate....

Sony's do that too. You will hear a fast "high-low-high-low" beep frequency which will repeat 3 times.
