stroking question
100 to 125 hp A stock 302 in a mustang automatic puts 195hp down 347 with some mods 300hp but your looking at a price of you doing all the work and the parts will cost you $4000 or $4500 for realistic 300 hp to the ground not including clutch or anyother crap you will need to hold it.
if you were to just stroke it and keep everything else the same, 10-12 hp. the 1993 cobra made 230hp, the 93 ford lightning made 240hp. the difference between them is the cobra got a cobra upper intake and the lightning got a better flowing gt40 upper (and a 351w lower). compression was slightly higher on the lightning.

You would gain a honest 50 hp alone. But your question is more complexed than that. With other supporting mods, the 347 would be that much more. And also the 347s dont burn oil any more like they use to when they were first introduced.
