Your pushing your luck man. The stock block is good for about 500rwhp.... Some blocks take more than that and last a while some blocks split at 450. My .02 is that anything past 450-475rwhp is danger zone.
What about using a block out of a 70s mustang; they're supposed to be stronger arent they? Id buy a dart or man o war block if i had the $$$ right now; [&o]
your gonna have 2 4 cyl blocks when your done, 600 is way to much for a stock block and no you cant brace it to prevent cracking, cracking happens from the inside out, and you'll need a dart block or something similar.
get some engine gurdleds that will strenthen your block up
a gurdle will only keep the two halves of the engine together after it splits, it wont make the motor any stronger. also keeps the bearings from walking
