92 GT Odometer reset?
I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to get at the odometer to reset it on a 92 GT? I reset the one in my 87, but that had screws that held the gauge faces on (fuel gauge and... water temp? don't remember, the ones on the right), the 92 cluster looks like the gauge faces are glued or melted in place. Has anyone reset the odometer on a 90+ Mustang or know how to get at it?

definitely not legal to touch the odometer
if the TRIP odometer is not working, its because the cable/gearing is probably wrong

Try running a hair dryer around the seam to loosen the glue around the clear part. Be careful not to melt anything though.

And actually it's perfectly legal to do, as long as you write the actual miles on the back of cluster, where I come from anyway. It's a canadian cluster as well, so it won't reset until it hits a million km. I'm doing it because the car has been completely restored, all rust fixed, everything re-built, or replaced.
Besides that, if I were ever to sell the car, I'm not the kind of guy to tell the buyer "ya, it only has 10,000km on it" and at that, i'd easily be caught, and get in a lot of **** if i got caught. The car was in a major accident at 220,000km, and hasn't been driven since, so carfax would give it away that i'd be lieing.
