Default Had a little accident + Wallmart is bad

It was raining outside and I was pulling out to go across a steel grate bridge. I was going about 15mph about 2000 rpms when my rear spun. I pushed the clutch in and hit the breaks but it was to late. I hopped a high steel curb and jumped the car but luckly did not roll it or damage it too bad. I bent the front passenger cobra r rim and blew the rear passenger tire. I replaced the rim and the tire. I then seen the wheel was funny so got it looked at and had to also replace the passengers side strut. Wallmart put new tires on my car not to long ago AND STRIPPED EVERY LUGNUT. I have locking lugs so i had to go and buy a wrench a force it in the lug.

It took me 3 hours to get one rim off thanks to wall mart. My question is should i also get the driver side strut replaced so i dont have one new one and one old one or is it good? The guy who blanced my rim said the rear passenger side is slightly bent but he blanced it to normal so how long would you wait to replace it? Do rims commonly get slightly bent from hitting pot holes? I also need to now get an allignment.

Finally when you lose your rear what do you do? I am thinking i should not have hit the breaks?

I noticed that my tires are not Z rated. They are Douglas M+S 245/45 R 17 95 H Performance GTD-H Are these tires anygood?

Toss a brick through the WalMart garage bay window and stop driving in the rain.

And I own a 1991A1.

Push the clutch in, feather the brakes and steer into the skid... If the brakes lock up, your just along for the ride... I'd replace the other strut, may throw the balance of the car off if it's worn... If you run it hard, I'd replace the bent rim, don't need a blow out doing a high speed corner... I'd get the alignment checked, cheaper than new tires... Sucks about the Walmart thing, Ought to see if you can get some $$$ back...

Walmart sucks. It's not worth going there just to save a dime on a product. Don't even get me started on all the lost jobs in a America cause of Walmert. Target and the local supermarket are much better.

If you want to save a penny on service at Walmart, expect to get the worst technicians in the work-force to work on you car.

I'd make walmart pay for the cost of new studs, lugs, etc at the very least.... My buddy had his oil changed at the local one here and they noticed he was a little low on trans fluid so they put gear oil in it, DOH!!!! Needless to say they paid for a new trans...

And by the way, heres my custom 1911 with all Wilson Combat, STI, and Ed Brown parts...

why would u even go to walmart for tires?

order tires off tirerack.com and go to a professional place like sullivan tire or ntb

not only will u save money but it will get done right the first time

and yes replace both struts and get the rims checked out
